I have worked in the trades my entire adult life. I did my apprenticeship with local 44 carpenters in Champaign,Il. Soon after I got into remodeling homes and woodworking. So as I learned how to be a commercial carpenter during the day, I was becoming a woodworker and remodeler at night and on the weekends. After over 2 decades honing my skills in home remodeling and repair I decided to start True building and remodeling. I offer remodeling and home repair services as well as my personal custom woodworking by design for you.
Whether you need a major repair or a renovation, I can deliver professional skills at a fair price. It is our highest priority to get the job done right the first time on every assignment.
We provide a full consultation to explain available options so that you can choose the service that’s right for your home or business. We strive to meet your project's needs and save you the time!

We cannot bill your insurance, but we will provide all the documentation that you need to file for reimbursement.
All of our estimates include a fully detailed scope of the work to be completed. You will receive a written report with a breakdown of the cost and time estimated for your project.
We communicate with you every step of the way. If we can see that we will not have the work completed by the agreed-upon time, we will reach out to get a new completion date.
